Flag Football
Ocean Township Youth Flag Football is a recreational league designed for young athletes to enjoy the game of football in a non-contact format. This program focuses on introducing the fundamentals of football, such as passing, catching, running, and teamwork, in a fun and supportive environment.
Ages
What aged players are appropriate for this program?
The Flag Football program is for players age 5-6. AYF ages are determined by the age you are on 7/31 of that year.
When
What time of the year does this program run?
The 2025 Season will begin the week of August 4th and run through October.
Where
Where are practices and games typically held?
Practices are held at the Kenny Pickett Filed located at 1100 West Park Ave. Home games are held at the Ocean Twp High School located at 550 West Park Ave.

When are practices and how often are they?
Flag teams usually practice 2 times per week.

How many games will they play? What days of the week?
Schedule is TBD. There are usually 8 games.
Jerseys
Are jerseys provided or are they purchased separately?
Flag football players are provided a jersey and flags.
